Duke University

DukeCast- Website portal for the submission of podcast files.  Categories include: Students, Personal, Duke News, Departmental and Courses.  Access via a Duke NetID. Rebecca Miller is the author/programmer of DukeCast.

Duke is capturing courses and material for both audio and video podcasting with Lectopia, which was developed at The University of Western Australia.  Twenty five or more classrooms are set up to record with Lectopia.  Files are stored and served on the University's Helix server.  Most recently, the Duke University Medical School has begun using Lectopia to create video podcasts of all lectures.

Purdue university

BoilerCast- "BoilerCast uses current digital audio delivery technology to deliver classroom audio recordings to students at their request.  These recordings are often used as review of the day's material for use on homework assignments and review before exams.  BoilerCast is a service available to all credit courses held on the West Lafayette campus and is capable of recording lectures from over 70 classrooms on campus with no lead time, and any other campus classroom wtih sufficient notice."

Princeton university

University Channel- The distribution portal for both audio and video podcasts (orVodcasts) at Princeton University.  According to Donna Lui, those wishing to use the University Channel for podcasting are responsible for producing their own content and for clearing any copyright issues.  Content submissions are not limited to the Princeton University community.  Examples of outside contributors include Duke University, Harvard University, Rutgers University, and The University of Chicago.

stanford University

Stanford on iTunes- Stanford University has an agreement with Apple to have it's own iTunes Store page for it's podcast content.  There are two project sites: a public site aimed at alumni, to access a wide range of Stanford-related digital files including guest lectures, special events, and sporting events, and a restricted site only accessible to those with a Stanford SU NetID for course content.
